Welcome to the Sons of Norway, Desert Fjord Lodge # 6-133
web site. We hope that this site provides you with information and a sense of
the fellowship and activities that the lodge engages in to promote Norwegian and
Scandinavian cultures. We hold monthly social meetings that include cultural

Our Mission
The
mission of Sons of Norway is to promote, preserve and cherish a lasting
appreciation of the heritage and culture of Norway and other Nordic countries
while growing soundly as a fraternal benefits society and offering maximum
benefits to its members. Desert Fjord Lodge, Sons of Norway, was organized on
September 22, 1984. Millard Engen was the charter
president and there were 302 charter members.
Come
join us! – Desert Fjord offers its members an opportunity to
pursue and enjoy their culture and heritage. You do not need to be
Norwegian to join. Anyone who shows a great interest in the objectives and
purposes of Sons of Norway, regardless of nationality, who is at least 16 years
of age, may be accepted into membership. Children under 15 years of age can join
as a Heritage member free of charge if a parent or grandparent belongs to Sons
