Time is typically set aside during each of our monthly social
meetings to present an interesting program topic to attendees. Program topics
address our mission of advancing knowledge about our culture and heritage and
involve guest speakers, videos, and/or demonstrations. The current program
schedule and some photos from recent programs can be found below.

April 18, 2008 meeting had almost 60 people in attendance for
a heart
smart chicken dinner. An interesting presentation of items brought to
America in "The Immigrant's Trunk", a traveling exhibition from the

Dale Ruff, an Architect, presented an interesting
program on building a Stave Church after
an Irish meal of Corn Beef and Cabbage in honor of St Patrick's Day and for all
our friends of
Celtic ancestry. FYI : Norwegian Vikings built the town of Dublin as a trade
center. For this
they introduced us to cabbage and strange tasting meat, perhaps?
